Peter Shaper has been the CEO of CapRock Communications since its acquisition from McLeod in 2002. Mr. Shaper is also a founding partner of Houston-based private equity group Genesis Park.
Previously, Mr. Shaper was the president of Donnelley Marketing, a division of First Data Corporation. He was directly responsible for the turnaround and eventual sale of the $100 million revenue database marketing company to a strategic buyer. In 1996, Mr. Shaper helped found the Information Management Group (IMG) as its Executive Vice President of Operations and CFO. IMG grew to more than $600 million in revenue during his tenure. Prior to joining IMG, Mr. Shaper was with a Dallas-based private equity firm where he was responsible for investments in numerous technology oriented companies, as well as assisting those companies with developing long-term strategies and financial structures. Mr. Shaper also has several years of experience with the international consulting firm McKinsey & Company.
Mr. Shaper holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from Stanford University. Mr. Shaper currently serves on the board of directors of CapRock Communications, Genesis Park, Alpheus Communications and US Fiduciary as well as the Greater Houston Community Foundation and the Texas Business Hall of Fame.
topDouglas Tutt serves as Chief Operating Officer for CapRock Communications. Mr. Tutt is responsible for managing the company's operational capabilities, global processes and resources across the energy, government and maritime divisions. Previously, Mr. Tutt served as Managing Director of South American Operations for CapRock where he was responsible for overseeing the company's business and teleport operations for Central and South America.
Prior to joining CapRock, Mr. Tutt was an independent financial advisor assisting companies in strategic planning and fundraising activities. Additionally, Mr. Tutt served as Vice President for LatinTech Capital, a venture capital company, where he co-led the origination, underwriting, and structuring efforts for a $50 million investment company targeting technology applications. Additionally, Mr. Tutt worked for General Electric Corp., where he held a series of progressively responsible assignments.
Mr. Tutt holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Management/Engineering from Purdue University.
topAlan Aronowitz serves as Vice President and General Counsel for CapRock Communications. In this role, Mr. Aronowitz is the company's corporate compliance officer responsible for all legal matters involving the company and its subsidiaries.
Prior to joining CapRock, Mr. Aronowitz most recently served as Vice President and General Counsel of a global business unit of a multinational diversified energy services company, headquartered in Houston, where he was responsible for all legal matters, with particular emphasis on international, corporate and commercial transactions. Additionally, Mr. Aronowitz has served as the Assistant City Attorney for the City of Houston and as an attorney for Locke Liddell Sapp LLP, a law firm with over 400 attorneys, where he specialized in real estate, corporate, banking, and commercial finance transactions.
Mr. Aronowitz received his Juris Doctorate degree with honors from the University of Houston Law Center and graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance with honors from the University of Texas at Austin. Mr. Aronowitz is a member of the State Bar of Texas and the Association of Corporate Counsel.
topDavid Bunting serves as Vice President of Global Engineering for CapRock Communications. In this role, Mr. Bunting is responsible for CapRock’s technology and infrastructure development across the multiple vertical markets the company serves. Mr. Bunting oversees the company’s technology platform roadmap, strategic vendor partnerships and product and service suites.
Most recently, Mr. Bunting held the position of Director of Application Engineering for DRS Technical Services where he oversaw the design and implementation of multi-million dollar voice and data communication networks. Prior to this position, Mr. Bunting served as the Chief Systems Engineer for Openband Multimedia, where he led the operations of multiple satellite network technologies and security infrastructure. Mr.Bunting also held a series of progressive managerial roles within G2 Satellite Solutions.
Mr. Bunting attended St. Edwards College in Malta and graduated from the 8th Signal Regiment Army College of Signals in the UK where he served as detachment commander focusing on communications and new technologies.
topEduardo Correa serves as Managing Director for CapRock Communications in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He is responsible for the company's operations within these regions as well as its Aberdeen teleport facilities, where he is based.
Mr. Correa has over 20 years experience in the telecommunications industry. Prior to joining CapRock, Mr. Correa held multiple management positions within the oil and gas industry involving engineering, project management and operations management of telecommunications and infrastructure solutions. He has led the deployment and commissioning of major telecommunication solutions and services for operations branches, LNG plants and offshore platforms. Most recently, Mr. Correa served as the Angola operations manager for a major oilfield services company, where he was responsible for the Reservoir Software, Information Management and Infrastructure Services departments, serving local and international operators in the region.
Correa holds an HND in Applied Physics and Electronics from The Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen, Scotland.
topIan Ford serves as General Manager of the Southeast Asia Region for CapRock Communications. In this role, Mr. Ford is responsible for CapRock's presence in Southeast Asia, particularly among Indonesia , Australia and other emerging regions. Previously, Mr. Ford served as Managing Director for CapRock where he was responsible for the company's operations in Europe, Middle East and Africa as well as its Aberdeen teleport facilities.
Prior to serving as Managing Director, Mr. Ford held the position of General Manager of CapRock UK and before that, served as Operations Manager of the Aberdeen-based Integrated Communications and Engineering Limited. Mr. Ford joined ICEL from the UK Armed Forces where he served in the Royal Marines Commandos gaining experience in operational communications on a worldwide basis. He ended his service as Senior Warrant Officer of the Royal Marines Communications Branch.
Mr. Ford holds a licentiateship in Electronic Communications from the City and Guilds Institute of London and a diploma in Management.
topPal Jensen serves as President of Maritime for CapRock Communications. Mr. Jensen is responsible for CapRock's European presence and leading the maritime services division based in Norway.
Previously, he served as Vice President of Maritime and was responsible for the SeaAccess Communications sales function worldwide. Prior to CapRock, Mr. Jensen served as Vice President with Telenor Satellite Services Group (TSS) heading the maritime business division, responsible for all sales and operations. During this period, the maritime business had strong growth and he co-led the company’s maritime brand to be one of the dominant solutions in maritime VSAT communications.
Preceding his position with TSS, Mr. Jensen held a fourteen year career with IBM in Norway starting as a sales trainee through several management positions ending as Vice President of Sales. In this role, his areas of responsibility included telecommunications, networking and business outsourcing.
Mr. Jensen holds a Bachelor degree in Business Administration from Oslo Business School (Bedriftsokonomisk Institutt, BI).

Keith Johnson serves as President of Global Energy Services for CapRock Communications. In this role, Mr. Johnson is responsible for leading the growth and direction of CapRock’s energy division. Previously, Mr. Johnson served as Senior Vice President of Global Customer Support and prior as Vice President of Corporate Development.
Mr. Johnson has over 24 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. Prior to joining CapRock, Mr. Johnson founded and served as President for Transworld Telecom Systems Inc., a company focused on providing systems integration projects to the energy, telecommunication, and government markets. After much success, CapRock acquired Transworld Telecom and as a result Mr. Johnson served as CapRock's General Manager of Systems Integration. Prior to forming Transworld, Mr. Johnson held the positions of Executive Vice President for CapRock, formerly IWL Communications, where he was responsible for providing strategic planning and direction for the company and additionally served on the Board of Directors during its IPO launch on the NASDAQ Stock Exchange. Mr. Johnson initially served as Director of Sales and Marketing for CapRock, IWL Communications.
Mr. Johnson holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Marketing and Business Management from Houston Baptist University.
topRon Long serves as Vice President of Global Operations for CapRock Communications. In this role, Mr. Long is responsible for the network operation, service implementation, and service management activities ensuring a consistent and reliable customer experience. Previously, Mr. Long served as CapRock’s Vice President of Global Engineering where he was responsible for the global engineering activities and design of CapRock’s network and service delivery infrastructure.
Mr. Long has held a number of progressive roles within CapRock. Prior to his position as Vice President of Global Engineering, Mr. Long held the role of Director of Engineering in North America and prior served as Director of Technical Services for Operations. Before joining CapRock, Mr. Long was a technical consultant for Platinum Technology Services where he was responsible for providing operational support and performing information security and compliance audits on enterprise remote access and network infrastructure. Additionally, Mr. Long co-founded the first privately-owned Internet Service Provider (ISP) in Killeen, TX.
topJames Rickaby serves as Vice President of Global Project Management for CapRock Communications. In this role, Mr. Rickaby oversees project and program management, ensuring global consistency in delivery, installation and ongoing support of CapRock’s products and services. Previously, Mr. Rickaby served as Vice President of Global Field Services where he led a team of over 120 people, setting the standards for a consolidated global approach to field service, and prior as Director of Project Management for EMEA.
Mr. Rickaby has over 20 years experience in the telecommunications industry. Before joining CapRock, he worked for Concert Communications, a subsidiary of BT/AT&T, where he managed the implementation of an international IP telephony test facility. Additionally, he spent 10 years working internationally with British Telecom delivering voice network projects with joint venture partners in the Netherlands, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland and the Czech Republic.
Mr. Rickaby was educated at Aberdeen Grammar School and is a published author having written and researched the book "Aberdeen a Complete Record 1903-1987" about his local soccer team.
topAldo Rodriguez is Vice President of Global Energy Services Sales for CapRock Communications. Mr. Rodriguez is responsible for CapRock's global sales organization for the international oil and gas market.
Prior to joining CapRock, Mr. Rodriguez spent more than fourteen years with Baker Hughes and most recently with the Wildcat Services division of National Oilwell Varco, where he served as Manager of Sales and Operations. Mr. Rodriguez was responsible for sales and operations of the Instrumentation-Automated Drilling Systems (ADS) in Canada, US (land and offshore), Latin America, the Middle East, South East Asia, and Europe, working for operators and drilling contractors.
Mr. Rodriguez has received multiple recognition awards throughout his career.
topRon Wagnon serves as Vice President and General Manager of North America for CapRock Communications. Mr. Wagnon is responsible for driving revenue growth, consistent service delivery, project management and customer care within North America. Previously, Mr. Wagnon served as CapRock’s Global Business Development Executive for the Gulf of Mexico Region where he was responsible for growing the company’s market share and surpassing revenue goals by meeting energy customers’ communication requirements on a global basis.
Over the course of 19 years, Mr. Wagnon has held a variety of managerial and sales positions in the telecommunications sector, while developing a thorough understanding of customers’ requirements. He has been a member of the CapRock team since 1997, managing relationships with key customers such as Diamond, Transocean, and Pride.
Mr. Wagnon graduated with a BS degree in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M.
topBill Weakley serves as Vice President of Corporate Development for CapRock Communications. In this role, Mr. Weakley is responsible for overseeing CapRock's global expansion into new regions and verticals, and also manages related acquisitions. Previously, Mr. Weakley served as President Director of CapRock Communications Indonesia.
Mr. Weakley has more than 25 years of experience in the IT and telecommunications industries including twelve years with IWL Communications managing various customer network build-out projects, and seven years with PT Freeport Indonesia as MIS Manager at their Grasberg mine site in West Papua. Between 2005 and 2007, he served as Director of Managed Services for the Global Technology Group. Mr. Weakley has served in several management positions at CapRock including VP of Operations where he was responsible for the leadership of CapRock's global operations.
topHank Winfield serves as Chief Financial Officer for CapRock Communications. Mr. Winfield is responsible for overseeing the company's financial policies, strategies and activities. Additionally, he oversees the Legal, HR, and Accounting & Finance Departments.
Mr. Winfield has more than 20 years of experience in the financial sector including serving as the CFO for Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney, a large commercial law firm experienced in providing services to a wide range of industries. In addition, he served as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Director for Samson Investment Company, one of the largest private independent oil and gas companies in North America . Previously, he also served as the CFO for Hydraweb Technologies, an emerging growth manufacturing company in the data network infrastructure market. His experience also includes holding executive financial positions within the telecommunications industry with Frontier Corporation and Global Crossing North America.
Mr. Winfield holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from Southern Methodist University and is a certified public accountant.

Tom Eaton serves as President of CapRock Government Solutions, the company's government services division. In this position, Mr. Eaton is responsible for overseeing the growth and direction of the government services business.
Mr. Eaton has held various leadership roles within the international satellite, government, and telecommunications sectors. Most recently, he served as President of G2 Satellite Solutions, a wholly-owned subsidiary of PanAmSat, providing communications solutions to the U.S. and other governments. Prior to joining PanAmSat, Mr. Eaton headed Intelsat's global sales and customer support. He was a co-founder and Vice President of sales and marketing for Integrated Network Services, Inc. and Director of marketing for Sprint Communication Corp.'s Video Services Division.
Mr. Eaton holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Mercer University and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Georgia.

Prior to CapRock, Mr. Myers served as Senior Vice President of Marketing and Corporate Development for Spacenet Inc., one of the satellite industry's largest service providers for Fortune 1000 enterprises. Mr. Myers previously served at CapRock Communications, as Vice President of Marketing & Product Management. During his initial tenure with CapRock, Mr. Myers was responsible for expanding and standardizing the product portfolio and helping drive the company's transition from a niche provider to a prominent player and brand leader in satellite communications for the energy, maritime, and government markets.
Mr. Myers holds an MBA in Technology Marketing from Rice University, a Master of Science in Telecommunications from Madison University and undergraduate degrees in business and international relations from Southern Methodist University.

David Cavossa currently serves as CapRock Government Solutions' Vice President of Operations. Mr. Cavossa is responsible for leading all current customer program teams and coordinating government affairs activities for CapRock Government. With almost a decade in the industry, Mr. Cavossa has extensive experience supporting the government community in the public and private sectors.
Mr. Cavossa spent six years at the Satellite Industry Association (SIA) where he was executive director. During his tenure at SIA, Cavossa was the chief advocate for the commercial satellite industry and responsible for coordinating education, outreach, regulatory and legislative strategies on a broad range of issues including; homeland security, defense, trade, export controls, space transportation, broadband, and the protection, planning, and acquisition of commercial SATCOM by the federal government. Cavossa now sits on SIA's Board of Director's. As one of the satellite industry's leaders, he focused the efforts of the association on educating the public, the press, policy-makers, and government on the critical role satellites play in our national, economic, and homeland security. Before joining SIA, Cavossa worked at NASA Headquarters in the offices of external relations and legislative affairs. Cavossa earned a master's degree in science, technology and public policy from The George Washington University Space Policy Institute as a Space Policy Fellow. He also holds a Bachelor's Degree in physics/astronomy and political science from Wheaton College, in Norton MA.

Jason D. Juranek serves as Vice President of Finance for CapRock Government Solutions. Mr. Juranek reports jointly to CapRock's CFO, Mr. Hank Winfield, and CapRock Government's President, Mr. Tom Eaton. Mr. Juranek is responsible for leading CapRock Government's finance, accounting and proposal pricing activities. Mr. Juranek has spent significant time in the government contracting business and has broad experience in financial strategy and leadership.
Before joining CapRock, Mr. Juranek spent five years at Vangent, Inc. (formerly Pearson Government Solutions), a publicly held company in the Information Technology and Services industry. He brings with him, a broad base of financial management experience for the government sector, developed while serving as Financial Manager at both General Dynamics and DynCorp. There, he played integral finance roles on several multi-million dollar government contract projects. Mr. Juranek earned his Executive MBA from George Washington University and also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management.
topMichael Shakarji has more than 25 years of engineering experience in telecommunications, wireless, and satellite communication networks. He is a leading subject matter expert in analysis and optimization of communications networks and tradeoff analysis of alternative architectures. Mr. Shakarji joined the company in September 2001 when the Defense Information Systems Agency awarded it the valuable Defense Information Systems Network Satellite Transmission Services-Global (DSTS-G). Mr. Shakarji directs all efforts on the DSTS-G contract, in which all DoD commercial Satcom bandwidth and services must be procured.
Before joining CapRock, Mr. Shakarji served as Director of International Planning and Engineering at Winstar, where he provided technical leadership on Winstar's global business expansion and modeled complete network infrastructures for Argentina, Brazil, Peru, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, Korea, and Thailand. Previously, he was the Deputy General Manager for Sumitomo Corporation, where he designed and deployed over twenty-five satellite based communications networks. Mr. Shakarji served as Director of Venture Development and Application Engineering at COMSAT International Ventures and he also spent time with GTE Spacenet, American Satellite Corp and COMSAT Laboratories during his extensive career. Mr. Shakarji has a post-graduate degree in Computer Systems Applications, finishing all Ph.D. requirements except Dissertation in Applied Mathematics, at the American University in Washington D.C., and holds both a Masters and Bachelors degree in Mathematics.

Nora E. Taylor, CapRock Government Solutions' Vice President of Business Services, has more than 20 years of management experience working in the service industry field and government contracting. During much of that time she has specialized in working with small, disadvantaged, women-owned, and 8(a) companies. Since joining the company in 2002, Ms. Taylor has been responsible for establishing and managing CapRock Government's ISO 9001:2000 policies and procedures for contracts, purchasing and pricing.
Prior to joining CapRock, Ms. Taylor was President of the Taylor Management Group, a business consulting firm that provided contract assistance and professional services to 8(a) and other emerging small businesses. Nora is highly regarded for her extensive knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations and the government's procurement processes. Nora is a native of Lansing, Michigan. As the daughter of a career military officer, she has lived in countries around the world, and now resides in Northern, Virginia.
